1. By providing their credit card information to Services Ricova Inc., the customer consents to Services Ricova Inc. charging for the initial fees communicated at the contract signing, as well as additional fees associated with the volume and weight of waste deposited in the container. The customer also consents to Services Ricova Inc. charging for additional fees for container cleaning, unnecessary trip(s), contamination, and/or extra rental day(s) that may apply.
2. The customer is responsible for the accessibility of the container. Whether during delivery or pickup, the customer must take all necessary measures to ensure that the Services Ricova Inc. truck can access the container’s drop-off location. If the container and/or its drop-off location are not accessible, an additional trip fee will be charged to the customer.
3. The customer is responsible for the container’s accessibility, even in winter conditions. Whether during delivery or pickup, the customer must take all necessary measures to ensure that the Services Ricova Inc. truck can access the container or its designated drop-off location. This includes, but is not limited to, snow removal, ice clearing, and salt or sand spreading. If the container or its drop-off location is inaccessible, an unnecessary trip fee will be charged to the customer.
4. The customer is responsible for protecting the ground. Services Ricova Inc. usually places the container on wooden blocks to avoid direct contact with the ground. However, any additional protection is the responsibility of the customer. Services Ricova Inc. will not be liable for any damage incurred during delivery, pickup, or throughout the rental period. For instance, the customer is responsible for protecting the ground with a plastic sheet or other means to prevent dirty water from the container from staining the ground.
5. Services Ricova Inc. is not responsible for any damage to the lawn, landscaping, or ground caused by any container placed on these areas at the customer’s request.
6. The customer is responsible for the container and its contents for the duration of the rental. If waste that does not belong to the customer is placed in the container, it is the customer’s responsibility to remove it. The customer is liable for everything deposited in the container at the time of pickup.
7. The customer is responsible for the waste placed in the container. In the case of containers used for concrete, soil, asphalt, bricks, or masonry, no other waste should be mixed in to avoid changing the nature of the content, which could result in additional costs for the customer. In such a case, extra fees will be charged to the customer.
8. The customer must ensure that the waste does not exceed the height of the container. If this happens, Services Ricova Inc. will not be able to pick up the container, and an additional trip fee will be charged.
9. The customer is responsible for contacting Services Ricova Inc. when the container is ready to be picked up. It is understood that Services Ricova Inc. will not automatically collect the container after ten (10) rental days.
10. The customer is responsible for verifying the included rental period. An additional charge of $15.00 per extra day applies after the initial rental period.
11. The customer is responsible for verifying the included tonnage for their container. A charge of $145.00 per additional ton will apply for exceeding the included tonnage.
12. Each rental includes 30 minutes during delivery or pickup. The fee for additional waiting or maneuvering time is $149.00 per hour.
13. The following materials are not accepted: tires, chemicals, toxic and/or flammable materials, contaminated materials, batteries, paint, solvents, propane tanks, mattresses, sofas, carpets. Additional fees will be charged if these materials are found.
14. It is forbidden to move the container, as doing so may damage it or make it impossible to pick up. Unnecessary trip fees will be charged if Services Ricova Inc. cannot retrieve the container. Additionally, any damage caused to the container by the customer or a third party is the customer’s responsibility. Repair costs will be billed to the customer.
15. Container rentals are payable the day after delivery or within thirty (30) days of delivery for customers with a monthly account. Any overdue invoice or outstanding amount will bear interest at a rate of two percent (2%) per month (24% per year).
16. For customers paying by credit card, an additional fee of $29.00 per attempt will be charged for any failed attempt to collect funds starting from the third attempt.
