1. The customer is responsible for the accessibility of the container. Whether at the time of delivery or pick-up, the customer must take all necessary steps to ensure that our truck can access the desired drop-off location for the container. If the container or drop-off location is not accessible, an unnecessary trip fee will be charged.

2. The customer is responsible for the accessibility of the container despite winter conditions. Whether at the time of delivery or pick-up, the customer must take all necessary steps to ensure that our truck can access the container or the desired drop-off location. These measures include snow removal, ice removal, and sanding of the access route. If the container or the drop-off location is not accessible, an unnecessary trip fee will be charged.

3. The customer is responsible for protecting the ground. Ricova usually places the container on wooden blocks so that it is not directly placed on the ground. However, any additional protection is the customer’s responsibility. Ricova takes no responsibility for damages during deliveries, pick-ups, or the rental period. For example, the customer is responsible for protecting the ground with a plastic tarp or other means to prevent dirty water from staining the surface.

4. Ricova is not responsible for damages to grass or landscaping for any container placed on them at the customer’s request.

5. The customer is responsible for the container and its contents during the rental period. In case waste that does not belong to the customer is placed in the container, it is the customer's responsibility to remove it. All content in the container at the time of pick-up is the customer’s responsibility.

6. The customer is responsible for the type of waste placed in the container. For containers holding concrete, soil, asphalt, bricks, or masonry, no other waste should be mixed in, as this would alter the content and incur additional costs. In such cases, the extra fees will be charged to the customer.

7. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the waste does not exceed the height of the container. If this occurs, we will not be able to pick up the container, and an unnecessary trip fee will be charged.

8. The customer is responsible for contacting us when the container is ready for pick-up. We do not automatically pick up the container after 10 days.

9. The customer is responsible for verifying the included rental duration. A fee of $15.00 per additional day applies after the included rental period of 10 days.

10. The customer is responsible for checking the included tonnage for their container. A fee of $145.00 per additional tonne applies if the included tonnage is exceeded.

11. Each rental includes 30 minutes during delivery or pick-up. Fees of $149.00/hour apply for additional waiting or maneuvering time.

12. The following materials are not accepted: tires, chemical or toxic products, contaminated materials, batteries, paint, solvents, propane tanks, mattresses, sofas, and carpets. Additional fees will be charged for the presence of these materials.

13. It is prohibited to move the container. Doing so may damage the container or make it impossible to pick up. An unnecessary trip fee will be charged if we cannot pick up the container. Additionally, any damage caused to the container by the customer or a third party is the customer’s responsibility. Repair fees will be charged.

14. Container rentals are payable the day after delivery or within 30 days for customers with a monthly account. Fees will apply for late payments. Interest of 2% per month and 24% per year will be charged in such cases.

15. For customers paying with a credit card, an additional fee of $29.00 per attempt will be charged for any unsuccessful attempt to collect funds from the third attempt onwards.
