Ricova’s take on COVID-19

The current worldwide COVID-19 pandemic has not been short of coverage in the media, and we at Ricova Services Inc. are encouraging you to practice social distancing and keep yourselves healthy. In light of the recent updates, regarding the closure of many businesses, we would like to underline that Ricova Services Inc. constitutes an essential service and will continue to run throughout this time. In order to ensure the utmost safety and security for both our employees who continue to work admirably, and the clients with whom we work closely, we have implemented several security measures and standards.

These measures include restricted access to all administrative offices for any persons not working in the office, travel restrictions for all employees during this period, and a mandatory 14 day quarantine period for any employee who has recently travelled. As the number of Canadian cases continues to increase, we are taking seriously the notion that we must all do our part to prevent COVID-19 from continuing its spread. Although seemingly little, this gesture is crucial to doing our part in keeping ourselves and our peers safe.

We have also put in place everyday measures for the health and safety of our employees. All Ricova Services Inc. employees are required to consult medical assistance immediately if they develop any symptoms of illness. We have made clear the importance of simple gestures such as frequent hand-washing of at least 20 seconds, avoiding touching the face area, and maintaining a two-meter-long distance from all other individuals.

As we all work to do our part amidst the current situation, we at Ricova Services Inc. are keeping up to date with the most recent federal and provincial guidelines and recommendations regarding COVID-19. During this difficult time, we hope you stay safe, healthy, and connected with your loved ones.
