Ricova Services Inc. pursue its expansion in Montérégie by acquiring the company Jean-Pierre Guay Transport


BROSSARD, Thursday, September 16, 2021.

Ricova Services Inc, a Quebec-owned company that fully integrates the process of collection, sorting, and reselling of recyclables, has acquired Jean-Pierre Guay Transport Inc., a company active for more than 40 years in the region of Upper Richelieu, and located in Saint-Blaise-sur-Richelieu.

With this acquisition, Ricova would like, above else, to demonstrate its leadership as a prominent company on the Quebec market in terms of the collection of residual material via containers and the recovery of recyclable materials. This acquirement has fortified its presence throughout the region of Montérégie. As a result, it is now possible to intervene on different issues relating to the management of residual material by implementing global, innovative, and tailor-made solutions for its customers.

Services Ricova Inc. collects residual materials from private companies as well as from several municipalities in Quebec. Recyclable materials represent more than 80% of the materials it collects and transports. The company also ensures the operation and management of several sorting centers.
